The Moon

What it means

The Moon is the card of uncertainty, dreams and the half-seen. It appears when a situation is unclear, when feelings run deep but facts are thin, or when fear and imagination fill the gaps. Not everything is as it seems, in either direction: some worries are shadows, and some pleasant appearances hide something else. The Moon asks you to move carefully, trust your instincts and wait for more light before deciding.

The picture

A full moon with a calm face hangs between two towers, a dog and a wolf howl at it, a crayfish climbs out of a pool, and a path winds into the distance. Under moonlight the tame and the wild look alike, and the path is there, but you can only see a little of it at a time.

Upright

Upright, the Moon suggests you may not have the full picture yet. Mixed signals, vague answers or your own anxious thoughts could be shaping how things look. This is not the time for big conclusions. Notice your dreams, gut feelings and the reactions you cannot quite explain, since they may be telling you something. At the same time, check what is fact and what is fear. Walk the path slowly, one visible step at a time. Clarity tends to come, but not on demand.

Reversed

Reversed, the Moon often shows the fog beginning to lift. A confusing situation starts to make sense, a fear loses its grip, or something hidden comes to the surface. This can bring relief, even if the truth is not what you hoped. Sometimes it also points to inner confusion you have been avoiding, asking you to face it gently. Either way, the card suggests you are ready to see more clearly than before.

Love

In love, the Moon points to uncertainty: mixed signals, unspoken feelings, or imagining what the other person thinks. In a relationship, it asks for gentle honesty instead of guessing. If you are single, take time to see someone clearly before idealising them or fearing the worst.

Work

At work or in study, the Moon suggests unclear information, shifting plans or worries that grow at night. Ask questions, get things in writing and check the details before committing. Your intuition about people may be useful, but confirm it with facts.

Money

With money, the Moon advises caution around anything that looks unclear, too good to be true or hard to understand. Read carefully, ask questions, and avoid decisions made out of anxiety. Waiting until you can see clearly is often the wiser choice.

As a yes or no

Maybe; things are not clear yet, so wait for more information before deciding.
